Event Recap
The NCF hosted Cyber Saturday in Augusta, Georgia on March 7, 2026. Students had a fantastic time exploring cybersecurity through hands-on activities and collaborative challenges. It was a pleasure to see their enthusiasm, curiosity, and engagement in such a dynamic learning environment.
This event marked our first Cyber Saturday in Augusta, where we proudly served 77 students and welcomed over 200 total participants. It was incredible to see such strong engagement from everyone involved.
Students dove into hands-on experiences, including a live Capture the Flag (CTF), a virtual escape room, interactive cyber test beds, password and phishing activities, and even a Rubik’s Cube challenge to explore hashing concepts.
We are especially proud to share that 100% of participating students engaged in applied cybersecurity learning throughout the day. It was inspiring to see curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in action.
Participants also had the opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals and partners, gaining valuable insight into real-world cybersecurity pathways.
We extend our sincere thanks to our partners and supporters who made this event possible: the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center (our host), Booz Allen Hamilton, and the Cyber Fusion Innovation Center (CFIC).
Everyone’s participation made this event a success, and we look forward to seeing you at future Cyber Saturday programs!
